Get in touch
Talk to us about the awkward bit.
Most people ring about the part that does not fit neatly into a quote form — a date that might move, a lane a lorry cannot get down, a house that has to be emptied before the next one is ready. That is the useful conversation.
Best for anything with detail in it — dates, a list of what there is, photographs of a difficult approach. Replies come back within a working day or two.
Seven fields, most of them obvious. It reaches the same people as the email address and is the quickest way to start a survey.
Weekdays & Saturday mornings
Through the working day Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. Moves and collections run outside those hours when a job needs it — office moves particularly, which usually happen when the office is shut.
What to tell us first
You do not need to have everything worked out. But these five things turn a vague reply into a useful one, and they take about a minute to write down.
- Where things are now
- The Ashford address, or wherever the goods actually are. Floor, lift or stairs, and whether a vehicle can stand outside.
- Where they are going
- Another address, our warehouse, or you do not know yet. "Storage until the chain sorts itself out" is a perfectly good answer.
- Roughly how much
- Rooms is fine — a two-bed flat, a four-bed house plus a loft, six pallets of stock. We do not need an inventory to start.
- Your dates, honestly
- Including the ones that are not fixed. A completion that might move is the single most useful thing you can tell us early.
- Anything awkward
- A piano, a marble table, a lane too narrow for a big vehicle, a listed cottage with a staircase from another century. Surprises cost more than warnings.
Where we go
Ashford town and the postcodes around it — Ashford town centre, Kennington, Willesborough, Kingsnorth & Finberry, Chilmington & Repton, Charing & Westwell, Wye & Brook, Tenterden & the Weald. The areas page says what each of them is actually like to load in, which is more useful than a list.
Beyond that: deliveries anywhere in the UK from an Ashford collection, and moves into Europe down the M20 to the tunnel. We do not claim to be a Kent-wide firm. Knowing one town properly is the point.
If you are comparing quotes
Please do. Ask each firm the same three questions: where exactly would my things be kept, who is doing the wrapping, and what happens if my dates move. A written quote that answers those is worth more than a cheaper one that does not.
When you are ready, the quote form starts a survey. If you would rather just ask something first, email or ring and nobody will chase you.
